One serious coin shooter.

When I found this machine on sale and within my small budget I pulled the trigger on it just in time to detect the new yard my son was on and all I can say is this machine is one serious coin shooter the first yard I scan with it I get my first silver quarter (1946) and my first Morgan dollar (1900) which was 11 in. Deep silver war nickels 1910 and up wheat cents buffalo nickels mercury dimes and a pile of clad civil war buttons bullets and relics are everywhere which is a plus but this machine can be put into a real coin mode and with the notch discrimination a straight copper/silver coin mode which is a cherry picking $$$ mode.and will hit the rings too.the QDPRO is a coin killer.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What type of user is the Quick Draw Pro best suited for?

The Quick Draw Pro is ideal for beginner to intermediate users who want more control and advanced features without the complexity of a high-end model. It’s user-friendly yet offers enough customization for those wanting to grow their skills.

Does it work on wet sand or saltwater beaches?

The Quick Draw Pro operates on a VLF frequency, which can struggle in highly mineralized environments like wet saltwater sand. It will perform best on dry sand or freshwater beaches.

What types of metal can it detect?

It can detect a wide range of metals including iron, aluminum, nickel, copper, brass, silver, and gold. The target ID helps differentiate between them.

    Is the searchcoil waterproof?

Yes, the 10" elliptical concentric searchcoil is waterproof and can be submerged for shallow water detecting. However, the control box is not waterproof.

How deep can it detect targets?

Detection depth depends on target size and soil conditions. Coins can typically be detected up to 8–10 inches deep, while larger objects may be found over a foot deep.

Does it have a pinpoint mode?

Yes, it includes a dedicated pinpoint mode for zeroing in on targets with greater accuracy after detection.

How long does the battery last?

It runs on a single 9V battery, which typically lasts 20–25 hours depending on use and battery quality.

Can I adjust the discrimination settings?

Yes, it offers customizable discrimination and notch filtering to ignore unwanted metals like iron or foil.

Is there a visual display for target identification?

Yes, it features a backlit LCD screen that displays a 0–99 digital target ID, depth indicator, battery level, and sensitivity settings.

    What’s included in the box?

The standard package includes the detector with a 10" waterproof searchcoil and user manual. Some retailers may bundle extras like headphones or a carrying bag.
