Product Description

Designed for professionals in utilities, construction, and municipal work, the Fisher FPID2100 delivers accurate magnetic detection with advanced target identification. Its standout feature is the patented TID™ system, which saves time and effort by helping you avoid digging on false targets—especially critical in frozen or hard-packed ground.

This detector performs reliably in challenging environments, detecting PK nails up to 14" deep, survey markers to 9 feet, and well casings as deep as 17 feet. It distinguishes between ferrous targets with a combination of audio tones and LED indicators, enabling precise identification and pinpointing within 1 inch of center. The FPID2100 excels in locating ferrous items near fence lines and differentiating between manhole covers and nearby iron valves. Setting 2 (TID mode) offers full functionality, optimizing productivity in the field.

Built with a rugged ABS body, the FPID2100 is submersible to 30" and engineered for ease of use even with gloves. It features a lightweight 2 lb. frame, intuitive controls, and up to 55 hours of battery life on a single 9V battery. With its durable construction, ergonomic design, and superior depth performance, the FPID2100 is a reliable tool for everyday fieldwork.
