Worth it

Great customer service! First off, my product was never updated by UPS and was "lost". I emailed Arturo and within a couple days, he shipped a new package and got to me in 2 days

This is analog NV accessible to the poors. Does exactly what you'd expect NV to do. Allows you to see in low light, and or no light with IR mode on. Do research about NV, all NV has narrow FOV (including these) and to focus these correctly you need a to set these monoculars a bit further from your eye than you think.

Only downside is these are handheld so technically you're supposed to hold them, but that won't stop anyone from ziptying a go pro mount to your head. Bam, PVS14's we have at home

    Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Night Owl Optics NOXM50 amplify low-light images?

The NOXM50 uses an Image Intensifier Tube that converts available light into electrons, which are then accelerated and projected onto a phosphorescent screen. This process amplifies the light, creating a visible image even in near-total darkness.

What is the effective range of the infrared (IR) illuminator on the NOXM50?

The built-in infrared illuminator has an effective range of approximately 35 feet in diameter at a distance of 100 feet with a 15° projection angle, making it suitable for enhancing visibility in complete darkness.

Why does the image remain visible after turning off the NOXM50?

The image intensifier tube retains a residual charge, causing electrons to continue striking the phosphor screen for a short time after power is turned off. This results in a lingering image that gradually fades, especially in darker environments.

Can the NOXM50 be used in daylight or bright environments?

No, the NOXM50 is designed exclusively for nighttime use. Exposure to bright light with the power on can damage the intensifier tube. When not in use, always keep the lens cap on to protect the internal components.

What is the field of view and magnification of the NOXM50?

The NOXM50 features 5x magnification and a 15° field of view, allowing users to see approximately 53 feet wide at a distance of 200 feet, providing enhanced target identification in low-light conditions.
