    Can I use the xGenPRO during the day?

    While using the xGenPRO in daylight will not damage it, you may experience a temporarily overexposed image. The device is primarily designed for low-light or nighttime use, where it amplifies natural light to provide a clear image.

    What type of batteries does the xGenPRO require, and how long do they last?

    The xGenPRO requires three (3) AA alkaline batteries (not included). Rechargeable batteries are not recommended as they may not provide sufficient voltage. The battery life depends on usage settings, but higher infrared (IR) intensity settings may reduce battery duration.

    How do I adjust the focus for a clear image?

    The xGenPRO has two focusing mechanisms:

    • Eyepiece Focus: Rotate the eyepiece to adjust for your individual vision.
    • Objective Lens Focus: Rotate the objective lens to focus on objects at different distances.
      Once the eyepiece is set, further adjustments should only be made to the objective lens for different viewing distances.

    Can I adjust the infrared (IR) intensity for different lighting conditions?

    Yes! The infrared illuminator is always on but can be adjusted using the IR button. There are three intensity levels:

    • Low (default) – 1 bar
    • Medium – 2 bars
    • High – 3 bars

    How far can the xGenPRO Night Vision Viewer see in the dark?

    The xGenPRO is designed for viewing distances of up to 100 yards (91 meters) in complete darkness, thanks to its built-in infrared illuminator. The actual visibility range depends on environmental conditions and the IR intensity setting. Using a higher IR setting extends the viewing range, while lower settings conserve battery life and reduce glare for close-range objects.
